Project-based Learning - Posting# 1

Project-based learning, as I look at it, is a lush green pasture. I had a great time designing one recently. The key that I find in designing a project-based curriculum is the subject that you would want to address the level to which it lends itself to be learnt through the project-based learning style.

When I say project-based learning, I relate it to a technology-driven curriculum. The one I was working on was to provide project-based learning on technology tools. The challenge was to build it close to the basal curriculum for school children!

Though the idea of building a project-based technology curriculum close to basal subjects looks pretty straight, prima facie, I found a few hidden caveats.
This posting is just the beginning of my round of jottings on this subject. Will continue with this post shortly.
